S/4 HANA Central Contract is not updating in connected system

Hi SMEs,

We have set up S/4 HANA Central Contract scenario in S/4 HANA 1809(On-Prem) setup with connected back end of ECC EHP 8.0 version

Steps we are using are as follows:

1) Creation of Central Contract in Hub system using Manage Central Purchase Contract app

2) Contract was created and approved in Hub system

3) XML message for Central contract- PurchaseContractDistributionReplicationRequest_Out is in success status

4) Central contract still showing the status as " In Distribution" in Hub system

5) We are able to see the PurchaseContractDistributionReplicationRequest_In as a successful message in the ECC back end via SRT_MONI

6) PurchaseContractDistributionConfirmationrequest_Out from ECC back end is also in sucessfull status

7) Contract is not replicated in the ECC system from Hub.

😎 Although XML messages in the Hub and Connected ECC systems are in Successful status but we are able to see the error description as follows in the message IDs.

System message: CL_API_MASTER_CONDITION_MM=>PROCESS

System message:No instance of object type PurchasingContract has been created. External reference: # 1

Please find error description details in the attachment.

9) FYI- Central Requisition and Central Purchasing scenarios are sucessfully working in our setup.

Thanks,

Nagesh S

Hi Pavan,

Incase the condition types between Hub & connected systems are different, there is provision to map the condition types of both the systems. And while distributing contracts to respective connected system it will read this customisation & create the local contracts with the condition types available in respective connected system.

You can find this customisation in SPRO under Central Procurement - Setting in Hub Systems, node

Hi Nagesh,

The issue seems to be due to inconsistent data , did you check central procurement operations monitor app? Also you can check gateway error log and AIF error log for more details.

Also check if you have maintained below data in both the systems:

  • Supplier
  • Pricing Schema
  • Incoterms
  • Payment Terms
  • Unit of Measures
  • Currency
  • Tax code

Could you please share details in those logs also?

Regards,

Somesh
