We recently sat down with Thomas Grassl, Vice President of SAP Developer and Community Relations, to find out what’s on his mind for this year.  He gave us a behind-the-scenes look at what’s new, plus a look at what’s coming next, at SAP Community.

Here’s what he had to say:

SAP Community is growing, thank you to all of you
To our 3 million monthly SAP Community visitors, thank you!  Thanks for always being curious, offering your opinions, and sharing your ideas.

This year, we’ll introduce more business-related topics
We’ve been listening, and we are expanding community topics to include not only technical and product insights, but also business trends like sustainability. We want to help you navigate new paradigms and understand how they may impact you and your company. Along with information, we will also create opportunities for collaboration and for everyone to share their learnings.

Launched the SAP Community Groups, what’s next?
We are also expanding the ways you can connect with one another. SAP Community Groups allow you to connect with people who have similar interests. For example, our new SAP Business Technology Platform Learning group helps anyone interested in SAP BTP get started, learn what SAP BTP is all about, and pursue a learning journey.

We will launch many more SAP Community Groups this year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

Tips for those who are new to SAP Community

Now that you know what is available on SAP Community, go ahead and become a member. It’s simple to join, and it’s easy to jump right in and participate. If you see something you like, hit the “like” button. If you have a different opinion, or you need some clarification, make a comment. This is how you engage and become a part of the community.

We’ll see you in the community.
