Overview

Due to sporadic network connection resets on Amazon Web Services (AWS), all supported AWS regions will get new inbound network load balancers with adjusted settings. This will change the server IP addresses of all SAP BTP ABAP Environment (aka "Steampunk") instances in these AWS regions. No change on customer side is required with solely DNS based name resolution. If plain IP addresses are used in network devices like firewalls to control traffic to SAP BTP ABAP Environment instances, the IP addresses have to be adjusted depending on the region of the used SAP BTP ABAP Environment instances as follows. This change may also affect on-premise integration scenarios with SAP Cloud Connector, since this component opens a network connection to the inbound network of a SAP BTP ABAP Environment instance.
