I’m very pleased to share that SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) customers Costain and Parkland Health & Hospital System were both named finalists in this year’s 11th annual SuperNova Awards by Constellation Research.

 

Constellation is a technology research and advisory firm based in Silicon Valley. They deliver strategic guidance to companies seeking to transform their businesses through the early adoption of disruptive technology.

 

The Constellation SuperNova Awards recognize individuals and teams who are prioritizing disruptive technology and transforming their organizations with digital initiatives. Costain and Parkland Health & Hospital System were both recognized by the SuperNova Award judges for their innovative application of disruptive technology in the Data to Decisions category.

 

The 2021 SuperNova Award judges, comprised of technology thought leaders and journalists, selected finalists who demonstrated success in implementing cutting-edge business models and emerging technologies for their organizations. Costain and Parkland Health & Hospital System achieved remarkable results leveraging the BTP which includes SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, and SAP HANA Cloud. SAP is the only vendor to have 2 customers as finalists in the Data to Decisions category.

Public voting for the awards is taking place online from August 9 – September 3, 2021. The winners will be announced at the SuperNova Awards Gala on October 27 in Half Moon Bay, California, during the Constellation’s Connected Enterprise event that hosts some of the most innovative and disruptive executives around the world.

• Costain delivers integrated leading-edge smart infrastructure solutions to meet national needs across the United Kingdom's transportation, water, energy, and defense markets. Costain’s Intelligent Infrastructure Control Centre leverages the BTP to take comprehensive operational data from UK national infrastructure projects and synthesize the data onto a common digital platform. It allows intelligent data analytics usage to effectively manage operations and inform processes such as budgeting, measuring carbon footprint, and building accurate investment cases for the UK Department of Transportation £600B spend portfolio.


• Parkland Health & Hospital System serves Dallas County residents as a safety-net hospital for over 125 years with over 6.6 million prescriptions filled and over 11 million pathology procedures annually. They are on the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic battle and leverage SAP Business Technology Platform to save lives with real-time access to all data and insights – such as COVID-19 beds and ventilators availability and COVID-19 cases peak in the county – that are needed to plan and manage patient care and hospital operations.
