We're thrilled to share some exciting news that will enhance your SAP Mobile Start experience on Android! Google Chrome has just unveiled its newest feature, Picture-in-Picture (PiP ) mode, and it's generating quite some excitement among Android users. This development opens a world of possibilities, offering greater flexibility and multitasking capabilities from your Chrome browser.

Here's a quick breakdown of what this means for all of you, using SAP Mobile Start:

Enhanced Multitasking: Gone are the days of being confined to a single tab! With PiP mode, you can seamlessly switch between different web apps without losing your place. Whether you're checking various KPIs or handling different tasks within SAP Mobile Start, multitasking just got a whole lot easier.

Streamlined User Interface: The UI has received a facelift with the addition of a handy minimize button in the top left corner. A simple tap on this button transforms your web page into a floating PiP window, giving you the freedom to move it around your screen as you please.

Enhanced Control and Convenience: Take control of your browsing experience like never before. With the ability to easily close or reopen the PiP window, you have the power to customize your workflow according to your preferences. Enjoy a smoother, more personalized experience tailored to your needs.

As of today, this feature is available on select Android phones running Chrome 122 or above. While it may not be universally available just yet, you can enable it by toggling the Picture-in-Picture option within Chrome settings.
