SAP Service Reports are an absolute goldmine when it comes to optimizing your SAP Solutions and maximizing their business value. However, we understand that going through numerous documents filled with intricate details can be quite a task.

SAP for Me has got you covered with an amazing app called Solution Finder! This app takes all your weekly service reports for your SAP systems and magically condenses them into a personalised customisable to-do list. And here's the best part: it uses cutting-edge algorithms to spot similarities and text types.

The engine behind this app can detect text types, like alerts, recommendations and description texts. It uses the LSH (Locality-Sensitive Hashing) technique to apply the nearest neighbour search. This way, similar chapters in service reports are recognised even if they are parametrised with individual texts.

The result is a to-do list which is enriched with many filter options, like the product or alert category, providing values like "Application Finance", "Security" or "Performance- SQL" to narrow down your field of responsibility.

The screenshot below shows an issue from Extended Warehouse Management in SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition, which is listed with the corresponding recommendation.

Whether you're dealing with hundreds of service reports from your on-premise, private cloud, or public cloud systems, Solution Finder has you covered. It generates a neat and tidy to-do list that not only highlights potential risks but also offers recommendations to steer clear of those risks. It even identifies all the systems affected, giving you a holistic approach to problem-solving.

The to-do list is updated automatically with the results of the next week's analysis, so alerts will vanish from the list, when they are solved. If you want to customise the list you can use the hide or snooze feature for the alerts.

In the app, you have the option to provide feedback to SAP about the alerts and recommendations. For example, you can let them know if you are already implementing a recommendation or if you have plans for a software upgrade that will resolve the issue.

Your S-User needs the following authorisations to fully leverage all features:

  • Service Reports and Feedback

  • Manage Alert(s) in the SAP EarlyWatch Alert for all S-Users
