BTP Trial and Universal ID

Hi,

When i sign in to SAP BTP trial, it prompts me to login to SAP Universal ID.
My SAP Universal ID is tied to my ex-company's S-USER. I'm now an independent SAP consultant and would like to continue using SAP BTP without getting tied to my ex-company's S-USER. The issue is when I try to login to SAP BTP, it asks me for my SAP Universal ID - which in turn is tied to my ex-company's SUser id. Can I login to BTP without using Universal ID? I've checked with CIC (Customer Interaction Centre) and I was told that there is no problem with my UID. It however is expiring next month in December 2023. How can I access BTP trial version by not using the S user ID of ex-company?Have sent 2 emails to cpitrialfeedback@sap.com and SAPCPTrialSupport@sap.com and not am not getting a response. Hence I was advised by CIC to post it here.

SAPs own user management was always "difficult" and Universal ID didn't made it easier. Do you use already your own, private E-Mail Adress in Universal ID? If not I would suggest to add it and then use a new Browser Profile (own cookie context) and register as a new user via https://www.sap.com/products/technology-platform/pricing.html. Use your private E-Mail Address there. If that address is linked to other S- or P-Users you have to make sure that the legacy password that you can maintain in the details of the User at https://account.sap.com/manage/accounts is in sync for all users sharing the same E-Mail address.
