ERP FI_DOCUMNT Archiving impact in BW

Hi,

We are trying to archive FI_DOCUMNT and MM_ekko objects from 2015 to 2020 but we are facing a problem that: what will be its effect in our connected BW system which is loading data from ERP.

Will the archived data become invisible in BW after archiving in ERP ?

If yes, is there any way to prevent this from happening ? e.g. by loading the data of FI_DOCUMNT from 2015 to 2022 in BW once as full load and then persist it in BW, and only the delta updates are loaded/added in BW from 2021 onwards. Is this possible in BW ?
