Not Authorized error on trying to use ES5 destination in BAS

Hi All,

I am facing an issue with using Business Application Studio.

I have configured ES5 destination in BTP and am able to successfully check connection.

Additionally, I am able to login to ES5 manually and can access the OData service as well.

However, when I am configuring the destination in BAS, I first get a prompt to enter user and password. On entering the correct credentials, I get an unauthorized error.

Could you please let me know if I am missing anything? I previously been able to use the same destination in Web IDE.

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Best Regards,

Rohit

Hi ,

Please create destination from service center , choose system type "ABAP Catalog"

and fill in the URL the system host . In the sap client fill 002.

Thanks Inna. This has resolved the issue that I was facing.

Any specific reason why we need to add the destination as ABAP Catalog for using this destination in BAS? I was able to create destinations in Cockpit earlier and use them in WebIDE.

Best Regards,
Rohit
