Error while converting a PSA (flat file) - SAP BW In-place conversion - RSB4HCONV migration cockpit

Hello Guys,

In a in-place conversion to bw4hawa , we are perfoming a conversion on a PSA (flat file data source). The PSA is converted to an ADSO, but in the last step of the task (step: retrieve data) we got this error message :

Transfer into DataStore objects (advanced) with certain properties is not supported. Such properties include:

DataStore objects (advanced) for Planning

DataStore objects (advanced) with materialized SIDs

DataStore objects (advanced) for snapshot scenario.

Any ideas please ?

Regard ,

Please close the existing session and repeat same task multiple times either background or foreground.

If it's not going further and if you want PSA to be converted to ADSO please contact SAP for help.

If you do not want PSA to be converted to ADSO. If you want convert the same datasoruce without PSA conversion to ADSO then follow the below steps.

1. Go to Task list run menu and Finalize the task, task will be completed without executing further steps, but objects locked under the scope can't be collected in another scope.

2. You need unlock the objects locked under the above task run. Go to table STC_SESSION .

3. Enter the task list run in the session id field. Now need to change the "STATUS" = '10' & "FINALIZED" = 'X'.

4. You can update the table via debugger.

5. Collect the same datasoruce in different task and perform the transfer.

please don’t change field’s via debugger in the task list framework. This can lead to a lot of problems. In the picture from the initial question you can see the tasklist in data transfer. If you finalize it, you will lose the data. Please open an OSS message

not only like Udo said please do not mess with the task list run in the debugger, but fiddling with control table contents is highly discouraged as well. SAP Support might refuse or be unable to help you if things get messed up by such an action. In the present case you will loose the data in the PSA table if you follow that advice. From the error message you got initially, you will need an analysis of your PSA-aDSO by SAP Support - either it was generated with the wrong type or it was changed after generation or there is a software bug. Please open an OSS message.
