Input ready planing BW query: input values can be entered in RSRT on premise, but not in SAC

Dear Experts,

We have created a model on an input ready BW Query. Input values can be entered in RSRT on premise.
In SAC we created a Model on this Data Source. We only see it in display mode in SAC. Which configuration step is missing in order to set up planing on live connections?

Hi Balazs,

it seems that you have used the BW Live Connection and not the BPC Live Data Connection; please use the latter and check the following:

Hi Gregor,

Thank you for your answer. We created the BPC Live Connection using the same settings as to embedded BW. Now we have to assign

• BPC Environment.
• BPC Modell

to the input ready BW query.
The challenge is, that we want to do this without activating the BPC licence. Have you seen this use case before? Do you know if this is possible?

Wish to check if you were able to overcome this challenge "...that we want to do this without activating the BPC licence"?

Our Team also is asked to plan on SAC, with a data-model based on a Input-ready BW Query, but using a BW live connection. Since we don't have BPC license too.

Any inputs will be appreciated. Thanks for posting this question!
