Integration Datasphere - S/4HANA On-premise

Hi,

What is your experience with the integration between Datasphere and S/4HANA and how did you manage the delta uploads? Have you created your data model in Datasphere based on CDS views or based on SAP extractors? It seems there are lot of CDS views which are not enabled for delta extraction which makes the things a little bit difficult. What is the SAP position regarding this integration? Shall we use cds view or extractors as data sources?

If you look at standard Datasphere content provided by SAP, you will see that, for S/4HANA solutions, it is all based on CDS views.

Hi! Thank you for your answer. Yes, indeed, this is the approach SAP seems to recommend, but I'd like to hear from other people how they managed the delta loads. Most of the CDS views are not enabled for delta extractions. Some views are available for consumption as remote table but most of them are not enabled to be used in replication flows.

Hi, of course we can create our own CDS views, but the idea of a native integration is to use standard views. Do you recommend to create custom cds views or to use the standard cds views and handle the delta upload in Datasphere with a data flow?
