SAP Embedded BW multiple clients

Our BW is within S4HANA, embedded, not a separate box. We have DHS100 and DHS300 as our clients in S4HANA.

So we do changes in DHS100 like build/change BW objects (we obviously create/edit objects using HANA studio DHS100) and use RSA1 for accessing transformations .

Data is in DHS300. BWADMINA table entry is 300.

So in DHS300 we should be able to run DTPs, process chains. We require to go to RSA1 , check on DTP loads etc.

But as we are now,

1. we can access DHS100- RSA1.

2. we can't access DHS300-RSA1 . we get message "You can work only in client 100". How can we workaround this? So that we can atleast display RSA1 objects in DHS300, run DTPs , monitor etc.

You must run the embedded BW in a separate client, in your case 100, and you also have to call RSA1 from client 100 and also you need this value in the Table BWADMINA.

It is difficult th change this value later, once you called tx. RSA1 from the wrong client.

changed the BWADMINA table entry is 100. But still can't work in DHS300 (Error says work in DHS100). Additional info : This was working before SAP upgrade of our S4HANA development system we performed recently.

DHS100 BW within S4HANA , we used RSA1 for create/edit/maintain objects but our datasources are sourced from DHS300 CDS views (sourcesystem object). in DHS300 RSA1/RSPC we used to execute DTP, clean data in PSA and execute process chain and test data i.e. never editing. This is not possible now as we can't work in DHS300 at all.

We tried running the process chain in DHS300 via RSPC_API_CHAIN_START function module. function module executes but process chain fails at variant. RSPC and RSA1 not accessible so we are unaware how to check even not happening via St13 BW-Tools.
