Unable to get BTP free tier account

Hi community,

I hope this only happens to me but I have made several attempts to get SAP BTP free tier as individual but I haven't got any luck.

2022-04-29: I followed the step from https://developers.sap.com/tutorials/btp-free-tier-account.html

but I got the following error.

2022-04-29: I then tried to follow steps from the following video.

I got an email saying that my order has been processed.

However, I haven't received an email about my account. I have also checked my spam folder but nothing.

2022-05-03: I submitted a support request about my order but I haven't received any response.

2022-05-07: I think there might be an issue with my P-ID so I tried to sign up at store.sap.com with a different email address (same credit card) but I have been waiting for a few hours but the order is still stuck at order request received. In my previous attempt, my order was processed within 3 minutes.

I'm interested to hear from others if you have come across the issue and managed to resolve it.

Hi Stev,

Unfortunately I am stuck in the same situation as you. The tutorial was pointing to an incorrect store and this was fixed now. Nevertheless I registered as you via https://store.sap.com/dcp/en/ got the order confirmation but until then no updates/emails at all. Would be really nice to get this fixed!

Hi Raphael,

Contact the support team of sap store. The link to do this is available in the emails from SAP store.

It took 10 days for them to respond to the inquiry. Then, it took another day for the issue to be resolved. Hopefully, it gives some ideas what to expect.

yeah I already dropped the support of the SAP store an e-mail. Thanks for the head's up. Now I have at least already an impression how long this could last...
