E.g.: how to use the numbering schema. What is the meaning of this setting?

Hi all,
SAP note 3110609 is already implemented.
But it seems, that the functionality is only for new document types (created from scratch) usable.
Existing or even new ones with a copy model will not work.
Can you confirm this?

I am using attributes for Value Chain and Business Process Diagram.
In the print dialog for Business Process Diagram I can select attributes and display them in the printout/PDF.
For Value Chain this is not possible in the printout/PDF....
