thanks for sharing. I changed it a little bit to create local tables based on a remote table (in case of persistency with a data flow). I also build a version to create snapshots of an object and store it locally in case I break something....

is a really nice approach. I had a simple one with just a control table to build a logic like the 0FISCPER in SAP BW. Your approach has more flexibility. I like the week approach. I keep this post in mind if I need this again
