I think that you can just download the theme file from theme designer and import it into your dev locally. Then just point the url from manifest.json to it.

For me the repdeployment worked. Just run the npx fiori add deploy-config with the same parameters than the first deployment. I actually used the same TR also. In the CL it says that the original app-file gets updated, and it did :). -Heikki

Thank you for nice blog! Do you have article of how we can create a new CDS view with BTP connected to eclipse?    

I solved this problem with just creating the eclipse destination again manually. I think there might be just some kind of a bug.
