SAP Academic Community Conference in Armenia (February 22, 2024)

SAP Academic Community Conference Armenia was held on February 22nd, 2024 in Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE). It was the first Event in the new Center for Digital Transformation and Data Analysis of ASUE which will be used for joint learning and innovation activities with SAP and our partners and clients. And our Conference also started the 2024 season of SAP Academic Community Conferences by SAP University Alliances all over the world, please check at SAP ACC Global Website the locations and dates of our next Events.

We had great presentations and round table discussion by SAP colleagues: Dr. Michael Nuernberg and Dr. Igor Belousov (SAP University Alliances), Valeri Sargsyan (Managing Director of SAP Armenia and Georgia), Tsovinar Chugaszyan (Lead of SAP Yerevan Community Group), our academic partners from ASUE, RAU University, COAF, our partners and customers from AcbaBank, Revytech, SAP Startup Factory by BANA, OneVision, EPAM. 

Having AI, Sustainability and Quantum Computing as focus topics of the SAP ACC Conference we agreed on the next steps to develop together SAP ecosystem in Armenia in these and related directions including SAP Cloud Solutions on Analytics, ERP, BTP, BusinessAI, CRM, digital transformation. SAP University Alliances and SAP Learning free learning resources (Student Zone at LSC, Quick Start Guides) will be used together with hosted curricula provided via SAP UCC in Magdeburg University.

Important format of the collaboration which was discussed during the round table is guest lectures and mini trainings by our clients and partners in Universities, COAF and TUMO Labs to give the students bright examples of real SAP projects run in Armenia, skillsets needed to run these projects, and possibilities for their professional and career development.

We hope to meet soon in Yerevan to follow up on the planning made during SAP ACC Armenia.

All participants liked the SAP focus areas on AI and sustainability, and our innovation agenda including Quantum Computing, as well as quality of our learning materials. In Armenia we have really great Community with faculties, partners and clients collaborating in many SAP-related activities and projects.
