To get the utmost support experience with SAP, we have compiled the most useful information related to S-User ID creation and deletion.

In this blog post you can learn the tips and tricks and best practices for S-User ID creation and deletion.

A Company's Super, Cloud, or User Administrator manages S-User IDs for their SAP Account in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad in the User Management application.

How to create an S-User ID:

1.Access the SAP ONE Support Launchpad and login to User Management Tab

2. On the Users tab, click Request User on the lower right corner of the screen as shown in the below screenshot:

3.You can complete the form in the Request User screen and click Submit

4. It may take up to 24 hours for the user to be created. The New User will receive an e-mail with an activation link, which is valid for 10 days.

5.After the User is created, you can click on the S- User ID and add a phone number. You will also need to assign authorizations in order for the person to use applications in the SAP ONE Support Launchpad (see KBA 1511008).

How to delete an S-User ID:

1.Access the SAP ONE Support Launchpad and login to User Management Tab

2.Scroll down the list or use the filter feature to find the S-User ID that you want to delete (if an error appears about important functions see KBA 1500217) / If you want to delete multiple S-User IDs you can select the Users via the checkboxes

3.Click the Delete icon in the Action column. (If this column is not shown, customize the table layout and add it to the view.)

Deleted S-User IDs are then listed in the Deleted Users section of the application for twelve months and cannot be reactivated (KBA 1811859) .

To help protect your sensitive company information and ensure GDPR compliance, SAP is assisting customers and partners in their responsibility of user administration by assigning an expiry date to all S-users, which started June 2nd, 2020. You can find the S-user lifetime expiration date in your User Profile. Administrators will find more in-depth information relevant to the user account management activities in the User Management Application.
