Thing Based Navigation - OWL page Link

Dear Team,

in Thing Based navigation, in OWL page, we click on the link ( generally first column ) to navigate to thing inspector screen. When observed, in the UI designer, that

1. first column does not have any event handler for on click property. So what event handler will be triggered if user clicks on this link ?

2. Second, when we hover mouse on that link, quick view displayed. in UI designer, could not find any property that deals with this. Then how quick view is displayed. What property triggers the call to quick view screen.

Hello,

I am not an expert here but, as per my knowledge, such navigations(to TI or quick view) are handled via backend framework when you assign it the respective ThingType alongside ThingType mode.

You can check yourself in the DataModel of the respective OWL in UI designer. Look for the "link" data field in the data model, you will find the thing type assigned and based on this thing type system knows which UI it has to navigate to.
