Hello Experts,
We have defined a simple Approval Process on our customer.
BO is Ticket.
Only one Level with Direct Approver.
Conditions are based on Ticket Status and Ticket Type.
Ticket Type X - needs approval
Ticket Type Y - does not need approval
As we are using Automatic Approval, to avoid consequently submission for approval on Ticket Type Y, on Ticket Type X, once we create the Tickt Type Approval status is "not started" but as soon ticket gets consistent for approval, it changes to "Approval Not necessary", even if it has conditions.
We understand that system will only change once it fulfills conditions.
Question is if with PDI, logic can be enhanced to be always "not started" for Ticket Type X before fulfilling conditions, same logic as in Manual Approval trigger.
Many thanks in advance
Joao Ribeiro
Hi joao.ribeiro7,
did you implemented the solution with an automatic approval?
We want to do something similar, and approve certain objects (in our case opportunities) automatically. Is PDI needed? How to set the status "approval not necessary"?
If the conditions are not met, the button to sent to approval is just greyed out. But I cannot see that this object don't need approval (that would be nicer).
Kind regards,
Deborah

Hi Joao,
Can you please better explain your situation?
I did the below test, and the ticket with the corresponding type + status was automatically submitted for approval.
The ticket created with a different ticket type has status approval not necessary.
Maybe you did not use the correct conditions in the set-up of the approval flow?
Kind regards,
Carina.
