How do we update the Item Category of a component in a BOM ?

A component in a BOM was created with the incorrect item categroy ( Not Stock , Text , Class) and we want to change it to the correct Category but this is not possible in the Change Bill of Material app or Maintain Bill of Material

as the option is greyed out .

How do we update the Item Category of the Component to the correct one ?

Once you have created an item, you can no longer change the item category. If you want to correct the item category for an item, you must delete the item and then recreate it.
