SAP University Alliances launch in Mongolia from 14th to 17th October 2013 had accomplished two key milestones in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Hartung Consult, and SAP. Our first customer, MobiCom has gone live on SAP, and National University of Mongolia (NUM) has become our very first member of SAP University Alliances in Mongolia.

The new partnership with the National University of Mongolia will help energize tomorrow’s workforce in Mongolia through educating future leaders and talent in SAP enterprise software, and will also prepare companies of all sizes in the country to better connect and compete in the global environment. It is also in line with the country’s desire to have “Mongolian capacity for Mongolia”.  With a population of just 3 million people spread over 1.5 million sq. km, Mongolia nevertheless is a resource rich country which will be increasingly important in the global economy.

Good news ...

There are many enterprises that utilize SAP products in their daily business in Mongolia. Young generation should learn Enterprise ERP technology at University. I wish many other universities extending their cooperation with SAP University Alliance!

It is really great to see that in Mongolia, many students and professors are very enthused to learn SAP - the core technology SAP ERP and the new innovation on Agile Project Management and Design Thinking.  In addition, there is also interest in Mobile Enterprise Development.  It is indeed a country that is growing rapidly and we at SAP University Alliances are very happy to help Mongolia build its own capacity for its economic development.
