Having been in the SAP domain for 25 years, starting from R/3 4.0B and being a SAP Certified OS/DB Migration Specialist, this learning portal (and previously OpenSAP) provided by SAP has kept me at pace with the latest SAP offerings without undergoing several additional certifications. Having 2-3 certifications should be fine, but more than that is no longer sustainable due to the exponential growth of technology. I believe having 1-2 certifications every 2-3 years should be sufficient, depending on the specific SAP domain you are working in.

I am glad that SAP has provided this free learning resource (sometimes with a record of achievements and a path to certification).

My learnings here have not only enabled me to perform like a "machine-like" high performer consultant but also provided me a total 360-degree view of the SAP products and solutions offerings, enhancing my understanding of how these offerings would answer the current and future industry requirements as well.
