Setting up an ABAP Environment on SAP BTP Trial

Hi ,

According to this learning journey  Setting up an ABAP Environment on SAP BTP Account 

"You need the following plans to be present in the ABAP Environment service:

• plan abap_compute_unit with one quota
• plan hana_compute_unit with at least two quotas
• plan standard, which is shared"

Are these plans available when using a BTP trial account ?

Hi Gary,

ABAP instances on a trial account work different. The ABAP instance for a trial account is a shared service and already available in CF environment. That is why you only have to "subscribe" this service, which is shared with other trial accounts. 
Regarding your question: No, these plans are only available on a productive account. On trial you only have the plan shared. To set up your trial ABAP environment, please use the Booster on global account level.
