Is Storage location is used in sap ibp for planning, inventory optimization in different scenario?

by default or standard IO doesnt take storage location into account. what you can do is bring those storage locations as MRP area in IBP. IBP will treat each MRP area as a location and thenyou can create TLANES between them along with IO specific inputs like PBR, leadtime ,etc and IBP will consider storage location as well.
