Thanks. I am looking for something the user can do. There are lots of standard SAP facilities for use on the sub item area of the Equipment Master. This mass swap of sub items from Superior equipment to another does not seem to be one of them.

Hi again Pete, Further onto PM Assemblies.... The 'Standard' build is determined by the BOM type 4. This is how we want the item to look when it is assembled up to the latest detail. The FLOC is the 'as built' picture of what it looks like today...

Thank you James,I am trying to stay away from variants at this time. I'm not familiarwith PM options of material/assembly structures, so I'm looking for what options there are among PM assemblies, Functional Location BoMs etc.
