For anybody else that this may help, I still think it is a Sage Database issue but I was able to fix the issue by using a sub report for the vendor names instead. I will still try to reach out to sage to get any more insight. Thank you for all of you...

The type of database we use is a ODBC and its name is SOTAMAS90 and it comes from Sage 100, we connect to the data base through their application / server so there could be something in there that could be having an effect on it.
