SAP Community - Where are you from?

SAP Community keeps growing and growing and I am super excited for this Welcome Corner as it gives the chance for not only new members but everyone to get to know one another and connect with each other.

As my colleague @Katherine_K gives an overall introduction to the Group and what you can expect from it in her blog post, I’d like to take the opportunity to start a discussion about the different locations represented in our global SAP Community. I am interested to read where you are located and where SAP Community is spread around the world.

I am from Germany and currently living in Wiesbaden, which is the capital of one of the sixteen German states located in the west. After years of studies and living in different places, my hometown has caught me again with its charm and the closeness to friends and family has won me over.

But now I am curious, where are you tuning in from?

Hello @SecurityGeek thanks for sharing your story. Great to hear you enjoyed your stay in Germany very much. I bet it's so different to Mumbai. I only was once in Bangalore and Varkala Beach in India and I enjoyed my stay there also so much!

I am Kirill, a software engineering student and intern at Würth ITensis. I have been passionate about programming since 2012, when I started with Javascript. Since then, I have learned and used many different languages and technologies, such as Java, Lua, Angular, SQL, NoSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, ABAP, HTML, CSS, GIT and NGINX.

I am currently in the final stage of my studies at WISS, where I have acquired both theoretical and practical knowledge about software engineering. I expect to graduate in July 2025, after completing a two-year internship as a software engineer at Würth ITensis. This is a great opportunity for me to apply what I have learned and gain valuable experience in the industry.

Hi @StephanieMarley, 
ABAP reminds me of Bash, which I'm familiar with. Thats why I had no big problems to learn it and already work on productive projects.

The main challenge I faced was finding good examples of how to use some Function Modules in ABAP. But I managed to figure it out by myself eventually.

I just discovered the SAP Learnings yesterday and I enrolled in one of them.
I think they will be helpful for me to improve my skills.
