2208: SAP Commissions Release Highlights

SAP keeps its promise to its customers by improving SAP Commissions by making changes to the user experience, the analytics that are built in, and the sales performance home. With the current release, we're happy to highlight the following innovations that will help you streamline compensation management.

Embedded Analytics 

Compensation Statement:  It is a new out-of-the-box story that is now available for use. Under My Files > Public > Commissions, you can find out-of-the-box stories for Embedded Analytics for SAP Commissions. It provides sales representatives with the ability to comprehend the compensation payment, in addition to the supporting information that assists sales representatives in tracking the payment value computation.

 

Other updates include: 

• As part of an enhancement to the user interface, the following fields no longer display timestamps: DATE OF COMPENSATION, ACCOUNTING DATE, HIRE DATE, TERMINATION DATE, RELEASE DATE and DEPOSIT DATE. This modification will be reflected automatically in new stories. To have this enhancement reflected in existing stories, initiate the creation of a dummy story, and then cancel/reject the story's modifications. This action initiates a process in the database that will result in this UI modification being applied to existing stories.

 

What’s new in Sales Performance Home? 

Download Dashboard Graphics: Dashboard graphics may now be exported to PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVJ, and other formats, allowing admins and sales reps to download the charts and graphs in the format of their choice. Related images for the Quota Attainment, Breakdown Chart, Manager Rank, Multiple KPI, and Estimator widgets all feature an export icon.  

 

 

Other improvements include: 

• Password reset notification emails will no longer be copied to Admin users even when the Send copy (cc) of all system generated emails option in Global Settings is configured. This update is a security enhancement. 

• The performance of the Lookup Table workspace is improved to facilitate searching, editing, and saving large number of lookup table cells (MDLT cells) considerably faster. The UI response time is now much faster when updates are applied to a Lookup Table that contain over several thousand cells. 


• Pipeline Wizard Updates: Position groups in the pipeline wizard are now ordered/displayed alphabetically.
