The Quota Setting functionality helps you derive the Quota value for a territory program. It exposes all alignments for configured dimensions across all territories in the selected territory program. In addition, Quota Setting is done per Target Type. For example, if there are two Target Types called sales and orders, then Quota Setting is configured separately for each.
Lets learn , how to derive quota values using Standard Calculation Type of Quota NEW within SAP SFSF Territory and Quota .
For example : Consider that you ( administrator) are performing Global Sales Planning for 2024 for Target type called "Metric1" with Account as Primary dimension of Quota.Product/Period being your secondary dimensions .
1) Navigate to Territory Program >> Root Node ( territory) >> Manage Quota >> Quota Setting, Click on the icon for Target Type "Metric1"
2) Click on the "Quota Baseline" of the All Accounts level . The below pop-up screen appears .
Define the criteria , weightage% with their respective settings . ( You can define upto 6 criteria .)
3) Click on "Apply" button . This will trigger a backgroundjob notifying the user in a banner form whilst running ( blue) / after completion (green) .
Once the job is completed , the Quota Setting page will be populated with calculated Quota Baseline values as per the above defined criteria and weightages per criteria .
How to Evaluate the Calculated Quota Baseline :
