Innovation at SAP SuccessFactors is a foundational principle. We believe in providing tools that meet your current needs while anticipating future demands. In 2023, we reaffirmed for customers a commitment to deliver a faster pace of innovation across the HXM Suite, and we’re excited about the new capabilities we’ve delivered with our 2H 2023 release.

Simply put, we love the new products we build. And we know that once you use them, you will too.

Many of you – through beta and preview testing – have expressed excitement about the new capabilities enabled with our 2H 2023 release. For example, the new Integrated Learning Experience (ILX) aims to accelerate upskilling through a simplified and engaging experience, enhanced search, and intelligent recommendations. Likewise, Quick Actions allow employees and managers to easily complete HR tasks whether they are on the web, mobile, or using Microsoft Teams or our new generative AI copilot, Joule. This is a UX paradigm shift that will benefit everyone.

However, it is not enough for us to just deliver these capabilities. We are committed to ensuring that you and your employees benefit from them as soon as possible. As a result, we have shifted our approach from a “get to it when you can” mindset to a “it’s all ready for you to use immediately” one. We have changed our internal processes – from the way we build features to the way we deploy them – to make this possible.

In the case of Quick Actions, for example, we applied best practice templates so that you can switch on these interactions with two simple clicks rather than waiting months until you can find the time to configure and test. And, in the case of the new Learning Home Page, we are bringing this automatically to your end users, with a simple toggle for them to easily access the former experience, giving the choice of familiarity and comfort when they complete tasks.

We recognize that many of you – based on your change management processes – want more time to test, configure, and roll out these new experiences. For Learning, this means you can opt out of the new home page and opt back in when you are ready. For Quick Actions, you can take the time to configure and test before opening them up to your people. That said, we hope many of you choose to benefit right away without waiting.

When organizations access the latest products, they give themselves an edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Further, as you access our latest and greatest innovations, we launch a virtuous cycle of feedback and enhancement with your teams.

Thank you to all of you for taking part in this journey. We look forward to helping enable each of you with quicker access to innovation as you future proof your workforces and change work for good.
