Have you heard your users complaining that when they click on the Log in button on the session time out pop up dialog box, they are redirected to a static page without any information or link to log back into SuccessFactors again?

This is due to the factors that: a) your company is using an identity provider (IdP) such as SAP Identity Authentication Services (IAS) or other IdP such as Okta, Microsoft Azure Active Directory etc, and b) the default static session timeout page is used.

The lack of ability to relogin and absence of link to the login page on the default session timeout page could be quite frustrating especially for temporary or contract workforces without detailed knowledge nor quick access to comprehensive help documentations.

To improve user experience, avoid the frustration, and reduce inquiries/case loads to HR help desks, we recommend that you change the session timeout redirect URL settings to provide users with a direct link for login on the timeout redirect page for better user experience, please check out our latest KBA 3320155 for steps and recommended settings depending on your SSO configurations.

@haidongsong While this offers a way out from the "error" page, it's still not optimal as the user is suddenly navigated away from a certain page and arrives on the home page.

UX-wise, I believe it would be better not to redirect automatically (unexpected navigation away from a business transaction), but to show the static session timeout, change the description, remove the 'error' text as this is not an error... and allow the end user to 'Continue' to "renew your session and navigate to Home".

For the time being, is there a similar solution for Learning?
