To learn more about making the most of these applications, openSAP invites you to join two new courses this March to help you reduce work completion time and deliver a consumer-grade user experience.
Build Your Own SAP Fiori App in the Cloud
With this openSAP course, you’re invited to learn about the concept, design, and technology behind SAP Fiori before moving on to designing and building your own SAP Fiori app by leveraging SAP HANA Cloud Platform. To get you started, you’ll be introduced to SAP Fiori design principles applicable for both desktop and mobile interfaces, and you’ll go through the design thinking process to first create your own SAP Fiori app mock-ups. You’ll get to know SAP’s Web Integrated Development Environment (SAP Web IDE) as part of the cloud platform, and you’ll discover how and why app development is moving to the cloud.
Once you’ve learned everything you need to know to prepare yourself, you’ll be ready to create your very own SAP Fiori app! You will be provided with a free SAP HANA Cloud Platform account that will provide you with what you need to participate fully in the course. Also, you can submit your app to the corresponding Design and Build Challenge included as part of the course, and the top three submissions will win MacBook Air laptops! SAP Screen Personas
With this course, you’ll learn how to personalize your SAP GUI to simplify your users’ experience. Throughout over 20 units, your instructors will focus on real system demos in SAP Screen Personas 3.0. You will be guided through the system step by step from how to build more intuitive screens and deploy them to your user community. You’ll learn how to plan new screens, create flavors, change colors, styles, and themes, and personalize your SAP GUI to suit your users’ needs. In addition to system demos by experts, you’ll have access to a cloud system, where you can develop your very own personalized screens. This course begins March 31 and runs for four weeks. As with all openSAP courses, anyone can sign up to take part and learn more. Through completion of weekly assignments and a final exam, participants can earn a graded Record of Achievement.
